We Put Your Donations to Work

DHFW is able to pursue it's goals toward educating and providing assistance to our community through generous donations, grant funds, and local business support.

As a 501(c)3 we take the stewardship of our dollars to task, and this year received the Gold Seal of Transparency from GuideStar.

Over 700 911 address signs and 25 private street signs have gone up allowing our first responders to reach you in the fastest time possible.

More than $300,000 in grant assistance for fuel reduction of resident properties has been utilized, providing survivable space around their homes.

We held our 2nd Annual "Don't Get Burned" Wildfire Event May 2022 at Mortimer Farms allowing our community to meet with the first responders agencies. Art contests for the kids has produced a calendar in 2021 and the first of what we hope will be many children's books in 2022.
